IT Change Manager

As a key member of our IT Service Management team, you will be responsible for leading the IT Change and Service Transition teams, working closely with IT Operations, Architects, Project Managers, and 3rd party service providers to ensure adherence to the IT Operational Change Management Policy and processes across all environments.
Key Responsibilities- Define policy and standards for Change workflows
- Assess and evaluate Change impacts and risks, taking decisions on behalf of the business
- Develop and implement strategies for the change function
- Manage the transition of major changes to existing services, and/or the launch of new services, to avoid undesired consequences
- Act as an escalation point for Change requesters, approvers, and business stakeholders
- Manage relationships with 3rd party service providers
- Publish and manage a consolidated forward schedule of IT changes affecting the UK business
- Oversee and develop the weekly Group Technical and Business Change Advisory Board meetings
- Engage with senior managers to resolve change conflicts
- Enforce governance of failed changes and unauthorized changes
- Ensure all processes comply with internal security and technology standards
- ITIL Foundation and Practitioner qualifications
- ITIL Service Transition certification
- 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management
- Significant IT experience in the insurance sector
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with Project and Visio
