Are you passionate about empowering individuals through education and entrepreneurial skills? We are seeking a dedicated Business Tutor to help transform the lives of prisoners by preparing them for successful reintegration into the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educational Support: Assist learners in developing their knowledge and skills to successfully complete accredited training programs.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with learners to formulate their business ideas into comprehensive business plans and support them in achieving a Business Startup qualification.
  • Entrepreneurial Development: Plan, create, and develop learners' entrepreneurial ideas, preparing them for successful implementation upon release.
  • Positive Environment: Challenge negative behaviour, boost self-esteem, and provide a supportive environment to foster personal growth.
  • Increase Employability: Enhance prisoners' employability and reduce re-offending through skill development and training.
  • Workshop Management: Oversee prisoners in the workshop, ensuring effective coordination of work and training locations.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of and commitment to best practice in equalities and diversity.
  • Commitment to developing skills and self-esteem of female prisoners.
  • A flexible and responsive attitude.

  • Experience of instructing/supporting people with challenging behaviour.
