Job Summary

The Information Manager will be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of project documents and data. They will control the structure of the data systems, including numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Filing documents in physical and digital records and ensuring appropriate storage.
  • Reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary ensuring relevance and that they are up to date.
  • Producing document progress reports and analytics.
  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits.
  • Setting up, copying, scanning and storing documents.
  • Creating document templates.
  • Managing requests for documentation and data.
  • Liaising with and distributing project related information with all levels of the project team and external parties.
  • Managing the processes around documentation within the organisation.
  • Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports on projects when required.
  • Responsible for educating, training and mentoring of EDMS and their workflows and procedures.
  • Maintaining those systems and monitoring quality benchmarks.
  • Being responsible for digital document quality control and compliance with company policy.
  • Working with the digital design team to integrate EDMS with other BIM and digital systems.
