About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NHS policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • Contribute to the effective working of the team by working flexibly and covering for sickness/annual leave.
Requirements
  • Good standard of education in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience of working within a Call Centre/Customer Service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of PC systems and keyboard skills.
