Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and communication support to our patients, staff, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level customer service via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
- Liaise with patients, staff, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases to ensure compliance with NHS standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of communication strategies to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
