Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level customer service via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
- Liaise with service users, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the effective working of the team, including participating in shift rota and covering for sickness/annual leave.
- Good standard of education in English and Maths.
- Previous experience of working within a Call Centre/Customer Service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day week, including weekends and bank holidays.
