Speech and Language Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our integrated multi-disciplinary clinical team at Autism East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge in speech and language therapy.

This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in evidence-based practice who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young adults with autism and learning disabilities.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy support as part of our clinical team, working closely with education colleagues to support student progress and development.
  • Key responsibilities include assessing communication needs, developing systems of communication, and supporting training in topics associated with learning, communication, and autism.

Essential Requirements
  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
