About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club, part of the Burhill Golf and Leisure Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve maximum sales and profitability.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet the high standards of the Burhill Golf and Leisure Group.

About You:

  • You will have a proven track record as a Sous Chef, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • You will be confident in your ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have a strong understanding of food safety, allergens, and health and safety protocols.
