With a strong focus on people development, The Shepley Group is seeking an HR Manager to join their team and contribute to the company's success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition and management, and will be able to provide strategic HR leadership aligned with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business growth and development
  • Manage all recruitment and talent management activities, including workforce planning and talent attraction
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, performance management, and training and development
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation
  • Conduct HR analytics to inform business decisions and drive improvement
  • Develop and implement compensation and reward strategies to attract and retain top talent

Requirements:

  • Level 7 CIPD or HR degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Strong understanding of operating in regulated environments
  • HR team management and leadership capability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ER, recruitment, performance management, and training within unionized environments
