Job Title: Public Health Service Manager

Location: Wigan

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Service Manager to lead key public health programmes, provide public health expertise, and improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Public Health or Consultant in Public Health, you will be responsible for leading key public health programmes, providing public health expertise, and leadership for improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities through delivery of action, influence, and advice to the Council, NHS, and other Wigan partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing public health expertise and leadership
  • Improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities

About You:

You will have knowledge of specialist public health acquired through relevant degree plus additional training or experience to Masters level or equivalent and be registered, or working towards, UK Public Health Register (Practitioner Registration).
