We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Public Health who can inspire and engage others to deliver our vision. This role will combine professional excellence with determination to drive radical and sustainable impact on population health and wellness.

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team within Wigan Council, contributing to health and wellbeing partnership arrangements that stimulate commitment to public health outcomes and prevention. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and forward-thinking public health professional to make a real difference in a Council with a strong national reputation.

This is a politically restricted role. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this is a competitive market rate, and we encourage applications from qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across organisational boundaries. A strong understanding of public health principles and policies is essential, as well as the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
