About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Intensive Care Deputy Lead Nurse to join our Critical Care Service. The successful applicant will have experience in managing change, dealing with complex and difficult situations, and IT skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Nurse in managing the day-to-day operations of the ICU service across three hospital sites.
  • Lead and manage nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the NHS Framework.
  • Oversee staff training and development, including mentorship, training, and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of nursing staff.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
