Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Intensive Care Nurse to join our client's ITU Department in London. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a nurse who excels in high-pressure settings and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intensive care nursing, with a focus on leadership and patient advocacy. You will be responsible for providing expert care to critically ill patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of nursing practices.

Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
  • Mentoring and coaching junior nurses to enhance their skills and confidence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council)
  • Proven experience as an Intensive Care Nurse, with a focus on leadership and patient advocacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
