We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Critical Care Physician to join our successful Medicine department at Triple West Medical, one of the UK's most prestigious NHS Trusts.

As a Senior Critical Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Critical Care department. You will work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and improve the overall performance of the unit.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Critical Care Medicine and a strong track record of delivering quality patient care. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this exciting opportunity.

The Critical Care department at Triple West Medical includes an Intensive Care (ICU) and a High Dependency (HDU). Our ICU has 8 individual rooms with single beds and 2 large rooms with 2 beds each. All rooms in ICU are negative pressure rooms. HDU has 9 beds, including 3 single rooms and two large 3 bedded areas. All beds in the Critical Care Complex are equipped with full monitoring facilities and a central monitoring station on each side. The Critical Care Complex admits close to 1000 patients per year. Median length of stay for the unit is approximately 3 days, with a high turnover of patients due to the nature of the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Critical Care department;
  • Working closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and improve the overall performance of the unit;
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans to meet the needs of critically ill patients;
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and plan care.
