Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Geriatric Physician to lead our team of medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.

As a Consultant Physician in Geriatric and General Medicine, you will be responsible for providing input to our acute Care of the Elderly ward and being part of the Acute Admissions Team for acute assessment of medical admissions during the day.

You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and be on the Specialist Register for Geriatric and General Medicine or within 6 months of obtaining CCT. A higher specialist training scheme in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics is also required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • wide experience in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics
  • MRCP UK qualification

A competitive salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be supported by the Clinical Leads and there will be opportunities for mentorship to help them transition into their new role.
