Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Officer to join our team in Calderdale. As a key member of our housing management services, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the surrounding communities and ensuring that properties are inspected and re-let with minimal delay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring vacant dwellings on schemes/estates, providing advice and assistance to residents on housing matters, and liaising with colleagues and other agencies to resolve customer problems. You will also be the point of contact for housing management services on a designated patch, enforcing the Association's conditions of tenancy and managing repairs requests.

To excel in this role, you will require a Full UK driver's license, access to a car, and experience working with diverse customers and dealing with various situations. Your ability to manage confidential information sensitively and your personal resilience to handle a fast-paced, demanding role will also be essential.

In return, we offer an attractive salary of £15.38 per hour, a temporary ongoing position, annual pay scale increases, and 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over five years' service) plus bank holidays.
