About the Role


We are currently seeking a Mental Health Professional Lead to join our multidisciplinary team at CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating the mental health needs of children and young people in line with local and national guidelines.



Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to lead our CAMHS team. You will be responsible for:




  • Providing comprehensive assessments and interventions for children and young people in various settings;
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with other agencies and services;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide regular consultation, joint work, training, and advice on child and adolescent mental health;
  • Ensuring that all clinical work is undertaken within national and local target times;
  • Mentoring and supervising junior staff members to support their professional development.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you must have:




  • A registered professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, OT, or another equivalent qualification;
  • Significant post-registered qualification experience working with children, adolescents, and families in the area of mental health;
  • Evidence of carrying out comprehensive assessments and care plans;
  • Evidence of collaborative working with other services;
  • Evidence of experience and/or training in supervising staff.


Salary


The salary for this role is £42,000 - £63,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
