About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Bank Support Practitioner in Carluke and Lanark. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness.

As a Support Practitioner, you will cover shifts to provide daily living assistance to individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in their own homes. Your tasks will include meal preparation, medication management, accompanying individuals to appointments, managing personal finances, and assisting with moving and handling. You will also provide emotional support and help individuals maintain relationships with family and friends.

Our team supports people with diverse interests, from arts and crafts to watching football and enjoying meals out. We encourage you to take an active interest in their hobbies and explore new opportunities with them.

About You:

  • You must have an empathetic and caring nature, good observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and confidence in using computers.
  • You should be able to work well in a team environment and on your own, with good organisational skills.
