Ocean Import Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Clerk to join our team at First Choice Staff. This is a hybrid role that involves working closely with our ocean team to ensure seamless import operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ocean shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Provide quotes and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in ocean import operations.
- Start-to-finish experience in import logistics.
- Knowledge of Cargo Wise and experience with exports and cross-trade a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
