About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality midwifery care to women throughout their antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey. This will involve assessing, diagnosing, and providing professional clinical midwifery care to normal healthy women without referral to a medical practitioner.
Main Responsibilities
- Assessing and diagnosing women's needs during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages
- Providing professional clinical midwifery care to women without referral to a medical practitioner
- Working in partnership with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe standards of care
- Participating in the on-call rota/night duty for community-based midwives

Requirements
- Nursing or Midwifery degree or equivalent
- Registered Midwife
- ENB 997/8 or equivalent or to achieve within 1 year
- Experience as a qualified midwife and all clinical competencies achieved
- Clinical experience in a busy NHS hospital (or equivalent)
