Job Overview

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a seasoned Paediatric Registered Nurse to fill the role of Matron for Children and Young People.

This leadership position involves providing high-quality care, operational management, and implementing the trust's strategy to drive improvement in the paediatric unit.

About the Role
  • Support the Divisional Chief Nurse in integrating corporate nursing plans and the nursing agenda.
  • Provide effective clinical leadership, expertise, advice, and support to clinical teams.
  • Deliver safer staffing daily in designated areas within the post.
  • Be accountable for the care delivery & management of the CYP Emergency department (ED) in the absence of the Paediatric ED Matron.
