Job Title: Quantity Surveying Expert

Location: Midlands

Carrington West is a civil engineering contractor operating across the Midlands and providing a range of services within the highways sector. We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team due to an increase in contract success.

About the Role:
  • Providing financial and contractual support on civil engineering projects.
  • Reducing costs and adding value to projects.
  • Managing subcontractors.
  • Measuring subcontractor performance against claimed invoices.
  • Producing final accounts and identifying additional works.
  • Carrying out monthly project measurements.
  • Staying current with quantity surveying developments.
Requirements:
  • Quantity surveying experience within a civil engineering environment.
  • HND qualification in Civil Engineering or Chartered Surveyors (RICS) degree in quantity surveying.
  • Knowledge of NEC, ICE and JCT contract conditions.
Package:
  • A competitive salary of £50,000-£55,000.
