About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Eve Hill Medical Practice in Dudley. As a Salaried GP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, on-call, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with clinical queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations on behalf of the Practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
  • Supervising and supporting non-medical practitioners, trainee doctors and medical students.
  • Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services (GMS) contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
  • Adhere to the principles of the GMCs Good Medical Practice.
Requirements
  • Registered with GMC
  • On GP performers list
  • MB ChB MRCGP or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • EMIS web trained
  • Experience of managing complex cases
Personal Attributes
  • Strong communicator with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
  • Ability to identify clinical risk and take appropriate action
  • Ability to organise self and others, to manage conflict and to address problems as they arise
  • Ability to understand own need for support
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work flexibly to cover during absence.
  • Have an excellent attendance record and time keeping skills
