We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Eve Hill Medical Practice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, on-call, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with clinical queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations on behalf of the Practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
- Supervising and supporting non-medical practitioners, trainee doctors and medical students
- Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services (GMS) contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts
- Adhere to the principles of the GMCs Good Medical Practice
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered with GMC
- On GP performers list
- MB ChB MRCGP or equivalent
Desirable
- EMIS web trained
Experience

- Correlation of history and examination to ensure safe and appropriate diagnostic and management decisions, accompanied by understanding of own limitations
- Up to date full GP appraisal and evidence of ongoing CPD
- Awareness of local and national guidelines regarding clinical management and prescribing
