About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Champion to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by drugs and alcohol to achieve their recovery goals.

About You:

  • You will have lived experience of drug or alcohol misuse, enabling you to understand the challenges faced by our service users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with individuals, families, and community groups.
  • You will be able to build trust and rapport with service users, remaining empathetic and non-judgmental in your approach.
  • Confident in working independently and as part of a team, you will be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, you will be able to manage competing demands and deadlines.
  • You will be willing to travel as required, including to areas with limited public transportation.
