We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Recovery Champion. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by drugs and alcohol to achieve their recovery goals.
About You:
- You will have lived experience of drug or alcohol misuse, enabling you to understand the challenges faced by our service users.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with individuals, families, and community groups.
- You will be able to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and remain empathetic and non-judgmental in your approach.
- Confident in working independently and as part of a team, you will be able to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
- You will be able to travel as required, including to areas with limited public transportation.
