Friends of the Elderly, a renowned not-for-profit charity, seeks an experienced Care Services Manager to provide exceptional care and support to older adults. Our picturesque care homes in Malvern offer a family-like atmosphere, specializing in dementia care and residential nursing services.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the General Manager to lead a dedicated team of staff, nurses, and caregivers, ensuring high-quality care delivery that prioritizes residents' needs and well-being. You will be responsible for supporting and facilitating their medical and nursing requirements, adhering to legislative guidelines and best practices.

  • Understand the regulatory framework governing our services, including the Care Inspectorate's role and expectations.

To succeed in this position, you must be registered with a relevant body (e.g., NMC) and possess proven experience working within a similar role. A strong understanding of CQC regulations, adult safeguarding, and communication skills are essential. Your ability to work with residents, particularly those with additional support needs, is crucial.

As a seasoned professional, you will be skilled in incident analysis, root cause analysis reporting, and developing subsequent action plans. You will also have excellent leadership qualities, enabling you to motivate and inspire your team.
