About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Support Worker to join our team at Bedfordshire Supported Housing Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing guidance, motivation, support, and supervision to our dedicated community support worker team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular supervision to our community support worker team
  • Provide professional guidance and support whilst on duty
  • Spot checks to ensure compliance
  • Developing relationships and liaising with external health care professionals
  • Act as a key worker to a small group of service users
  • Conducting service user reviews and updating care plans and risk assessments
  • Accompanying service users to appointments
  • Assisting them with all aspects of care including personal care and medication management
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge caring for people with a variety of conditions
  • NVQ or diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Great management skills, with good written/verbal communication
  • Full driving license or ability to get around Bedford easily
