About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Bedfordshire Supported Housing Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional support to our service user in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals to access their community, including accompanying them to appointments and helping with shopping.
  • Assist with personal care and household tasks, such as helping with medication, preparing meals, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our service user, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of our service user.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our service user and their family.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service user.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries.
  • Good understanding of equality and diversity principles, with the ability to promote inclusive practices.
