Main Job Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of critical care and surgical physiotherapy services at QEQM Hospital. As a senior clinical specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical expertise, advice, and support to the multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties:
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate critical care and surgical physiotherapy services
  • Provide clinical supervision, appraisal, and teaching to the team
  • Collaborate with other clinical specialists to provide a high-quality, efficient service
  • Ensure clinical governance targets are met, including the development of clinical standards and protocols
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist with a strong clinical background in critical care and surgery. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical area
  • A proven record of providing high-quality intervention
  • Clinical educator experience
  • Participation in clinical audit
  • Evidence of clinical supervision
  • Participation in service development/quality improvement initiatives
