Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join its Staff Psychological Wellbeing Service.

About the Role

This Band 6 position involves providing expert short-term psychological therapy for NHS staff. The ideal candidate will have a recognised professional qualification in Counselling or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and current membership and accreditation with a relevant professional body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage issues such as risk, safeguarding, and conflicts of interest.
  • Provide brief solution-focused work and experience of workplace counselling.
  • Collaborate with other services and teams across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire.

The successful applicant will receive support and supervision to develop their skills and contribute to innovative practice and collaborative working.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £40,927 - £62,035 per annum, depending on experience.
