As an Early Years Educator at Best Practice Network Limited, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting. Job Summary:

  • Supporting children: Provide care, play, and learning activities for children of different ages and developmental stages
  • Creating a safe environment: Ensure the crche environment is inclusive and appropriate for children's needs and cultural backgrounds
  • Communicating with parents: Share information about children's needs and progress with parents and carers
  • Observing and assessing children: Monitor children and discuss concerns with a line manager
  • Maintaining records: Keep records of attendance, contact details, and other relevant information
  • Attending courses: Participate in courses and meetings to develop skills and knowledge
  • Completing tasks: Complete tests, assignments, and other tasks as part of the apprenticeship
  • Working with others: Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to meet children's needs
  • Following policies: Adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the work of the setting

Requirements:

  • You must be a UK resident or have a visa that will support you for the duration of your apprenticeship
  • GCSEs in English and maths at Grade C (4) or above or able to achieve Level 2 English and maths whilst on programme

The salary for this role is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an apprentice, you will also receive a generous benefits package, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.

Progression Opportunities:

This apprenticeship offers excellent career prospects, with the potential to progress to senior roles within the nursery or related industries. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you can gain Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner status and further training to reach Early Years Teacher Status.
