About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Trade Centre Advisor to join our team at JP Corry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the achievement of sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all customers, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Identify and generate sales opportunities for our full range of products.
  • Provide realistic quotations to meet both customer and business needs.
  • Ensure a high standard of 'good housekeeping' throughout the store.
  • Carry out all cash transactions, refunds, and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
  • Ensure sufficient levels of stock are on the shop floor, ordering more as required.

Requirements:
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to be a real team player.
  • Proficient in the use of IT and have good computer literacy and telephone skills.
  • Web sales, 'E' commerce, and social media experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience of the construction/building materials industry is ideal.
