Director of Blood Sciences Operations

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Blood Sciences Operations to join our team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve blood transfusion services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Analyze data and trends to inform business decisions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing change management initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and adherence to these standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a track record of driving operational excellence and improving patient outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships.
- Knowledge of business planning processes, budgeting, and financial management, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- A relevant professional qualification or degree, such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
