About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our M&A Due Diligence sub-team within our Legal Delivery Centre (LDC). As a key member of our Corporate Practice Group, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 Paralegals and ensuring a high-quality service to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day work of the DD team, ensuring standard ways of working are adhered to, robust checks and quality controls are in place, and work is properly staffed.
  • Supervise the majority of the team's DD projects, managing expectations, tracking progress, and providing timely updates.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for any issues and escalate as necessary.

Development and Expansion

  • Build relationships with our Corporate Practice Group to promote awareness of our LDC's DD capabilities.
  • Liaise with the Corporate Practice Group to identify further LDC solutions.
  • Assess opportunities to improve operational processes, documentation, and training.

About You

We welcome applications from experienced professionals with a strong background in Corporate Law and M&A transactions. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience working within a Corporate Legal Team or similar setting.
  • LLB or GDL or equivalent Law degree.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear and effective communicator.
  • Highly professional with a dedication to exceeding expectations.
