About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LDC Team Manager to lead our M&A due diligence sub-team and assist in the development and expansion of our LDC Due Diligence offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8 Paralegals, ensuring a high-quality service to our Corporate Practice group, and supporting the day-to-day work of the DD team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the expectations of those providing instructions by tracking progress, anticipating and highlighting resourcing issues, and providing timely updates.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for any issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and expansion of the LDC DD offering by building relationships with the Corporate practice group, identifying further LDC solutions, and assessing opportunities to improve operational processes.
  • General line management responsibility for the team, including allocating assignments, monitoring workload, conducting performance reviews, and identifying training needs.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years' experience working within a Corporate Legal Team or similar setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of M&A due diligence and be able to manage and work well with people at all levels.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, a clear and effective communicator, and highly professional with a dedication to exceeding expectations.
