Job Description:

GB010 Marsh Corporate Services is seeking a talented System Support Administrator (focused on IIS/.NET applications) to join our dedicated Systems Engineering team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call rotational production technical support, manages severity level 1 issues and implements change controls as well as contributes to production issue resolution.
  • Ensure application availability, reliability, stability and documents root cause analysis of all in-scope incidents along with recommended corrective action plans.
  • Participate in application migrations and projects requiring infrastructure implementation and/or changes.
  • Assist with application releases and processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documents such as knowledge base articles, infrastructure diagrams, and FAQs

Requirements:

  • Experience handling large MS .NET and IIS based windows and web applications.
  • A good awareness of Microsoft .NET technology
  • Experience administrating applications on Window Servers (2016/2019)
  • Strong experience in application troubleshooting e.g. reviewing Logs (IIS/Event Viewer/etc.), use of Sys Internals tools, etc.
  • Good knowledge on patching procedures for Windows OS, .NET, Java, etc.
  • Exposure to Microsoft SQL server 2016/2019 (including SQL Scripting experience) is preferred
