About the Job

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant at the Glenbourne Unit, you will be responsible for assisting our skilled nursing staff in providing exceptional care to patients with mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, ensuring that each individual receives the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to patients with mental health needs, working closely with our nursing staff
• Develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as physical interventions, de-escalation techniques, and risk assessments
• Participate in case review and assessment for admission/discharge process
• Make appropriate records in the multi-disciplinary patient file/electronic records
• Assist patients with personal care and record observations in accordance with the Care Plan

Requirements

We require a Senior Healthcare Assistant who possesses:
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience/qualification
• Care certificate
• Experience of one year in a Mental Health setting
• Band 2 level or equivalent or Band 3 level or equivalent
• Recent experience of working in a care setting

The estimated salary for this position is £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
