Mental Health Care Worker

Livewell Southwest is recruiting for a dedicated Mental Health Care Worker to join our Glenbourne Unit team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health needs.
Key Duties- Assist trained nurses in delivering holistic care, including physical, social, and psychological support
- Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans, participating in case reviews and admission/discharge processes
- Record patient observations, manage property, and undertake specific responsibilities designated by the Ward Manager
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience/qualification
- Care Certificate and evidence of training/relevant development in mental health settings
- Experience working in a Mental Health setting (1 year), Band 2 or 3 level, and awareness of vulnerable adult/protection issues
- Friendly and caring manner, approachable, and appreciation of working with a wide age group of clients
Estimated Salary: £23,500 - £26,000 per annum
