At High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ), we're seeking an experienced Sport Psychologist to lead athlete wellbeing and performance initiatives. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and a range of psychological services, including policy and program development, system-wide assessment, prevention efforts, consultation, individual and group interventions, and crisis triage.

This role is embedded within the HPSNZ Athlete Performance Support team and involves working closely with National Sporting Organizations (NSOs). The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated, integrated multidisciplinary team, committed to a holistic approach to health, wellbeing, and performance to help athletes achieve their goals in sport and life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead athlete wellbeing and performance initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and a range of psychological services.
  • Collaborate with National Sporting Organizations (NSOs).
  • Co-manage Sport Psychology Contractors.
