Awerian is a research and development consultancy that is part of TTP Group, an employee-owned trust. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working on breakthrough technology to strengthen the UK's Defence and Homeland Security.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with elite scientists, engineers, and designers to create impactful hardware solutions. Your work will have a real-world impact, and you will get to explore pioneering concepts and develop your skills in project leadership and client management.
Responsibilities:
- Capture requirements, design, develop, document, test, and deliver hardware solutions through the whole product life cycle.
- Work on diverse, real-world challenges, from proof-of-concept through to working prototypes.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers on system architecture, interfaces, and hardware procurement.
- Harmonise conflicting system requirements using expert knowledge of component capabilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree and proven technical capabilities, including the design and development of technology solutions.
- Knowledge of interfacing to high and low speed peripherals, running simulations and testbenches, and performing hardware-level debugging.
- Notable experience in two or more of the following areas: systems integration, circuit design, schematic capture, and collaborating with Software Engineers.
