Job Title

A 12-month maternity leave post has become available within the Children's Community Team for People with a Learning Disability (CCTPLD).

About the Role

The CCTPLD team provides specialist multi-disciplinary healthcare assessment and treatment services for children who have a learning disability, physical health needs, mental illness, or challenging behaviour.

Main Duties
  • You will work with the Community Nursing Team, holding a caseload of individuals with diverse needs and provide specialist assessment and intervention to patients with learning disabilities in the community.
  • Collaborate with the person, their network of care, mainstream health services, and the multidisciplinary team to enhance, optimise, and maintain the person's health and quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Recognised Nursing qualification - RNLD
  • Experience of engaging and communicating effectively with people at all levels
Estimated Salary

£32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience
