**Job Title:** Learning Disability Nurse Specialist

**Salary:** Estimated salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Community Children's Team, you will work with children and young people who have learning disabilities, providing specialist healthcare assessment and treatment services.

The ideal candidate will possess a recognized nursing qualification in Learning Disabilities and have experience of working with individuals with complex needs. You will be required to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, with good personal organization skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Main Duties:

  • Work with the Community Nursing Team to provide specialist assessment and intervention to patients with learning disabilities in the community.
  • Collaborate with individuals, their networks of care, mainstream health services, and the multidisciplinary team to enhance, optimize, and maintain the person's health and quality of life.
