Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protection Worker on the Track (PWT) Support Specialist to join our team at Telent. As a PWT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our staff and the public while working on or about the track during engineering hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake protection duties to ensure staff are protected in a safe manner while working on or about the track.
  • Adhere to the Transport at Work Act, with particular attention to the Drugs and Alcohol Policy.
  • Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.
  • Carry relevant certificates and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Book on and off with relevant personnel at the start and end of each shift.
  • Maintain good communication with the PWT team leader and ensure briefings are conducted prior to any work commencing.
  • Read and understand NEPA and any notices at the start of each shift.
  • Post holder must carry out their work and adhere to all Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) formal documentation requirements within Telent.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a PWT EH and PWT EH qualifications.
  • All staff must have undertaken the relevant PWT courses and have undergone the required assessments.
  • Sentinel with ICI - LU.
