Year 6 Learning Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a progressive school in Barnet, North London. As a qualified teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their upcoming SATs exams.
The school has a Good Ofsted rating and values inclusivity, making it an ideal environment for both students and staff members. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses
- Pastoral care of children in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and creating a conducive learning environment
- Maintaining progress records and occasionally reporting back to parents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
- Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Patient, resilient, and passionate about teaching
- A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
