Wayman Learning Trust is a one-form entry school located in the heart of Barnet, North London. We are seeking a talented and motivated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team. This is a permanent role with a January start, offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 6 students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their SATs exams. As a member of our supportive team, you will play a key role in promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. To teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets.
  2. To keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
  3. To promote teamwork and cultivate a conducive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patient, resilient, and passionate about teaching
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
