Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Practice Director to lead our dynamic team at Crossroads Veterinary Centre in High Wycombe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, enhancing team engagement, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the front-of-house reception team and the admin team, preparing the monthly payroll, managing holiday cover, processing overtime, company sick pay, and SSP payments. You will also oversee diary schedules, manage practice health and safety, and handle facilities and equipment, including arranging repairs and managing group debt protocols.
In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will participate in the annual pay review and staff cost budget process, conduct appraisals and performance management for all non-clinical staff, and collaborate with the Operations team to plan and promote practice events such as Pet Health Plans, career days, discounts, and bundles.

What We're Looking ForWe are seeking someone with a solid background in leadership, operational management, and achieving financial targets. You should have experience in IT, HR, and H&S, with knowledge of engagement drivers, conflict resolution, and complaint handling. Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management skills are essential, along with excellent communication, self-motivation, effective time management, and strong interpersonal abilities.
