Clinical Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Director to join our team at Priory Hospital Marlow. As a key member of the hospital's Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for leading the clinical services operations, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver the hospital's clinical strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
- Deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Oversee the performance and governance of all clinical departments, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
- Act as a role model, mentor, and leader, promoting a culture of learning, development, and professionalism.
- Manage the delivery of the clinical services business plan, ensuring effective and efficient management of staffing, budgets, and resources.
- Promote effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure relevant staff work within professional codes of conduct, taking remedial action as necessary.
- Carry out on-call duties as directed by the Hospital Director, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
- Ensure site objectives are met, promoting a high quality of service and continuous improvement.
- Professional NMC registration.
- Strong clinical experience in ED, with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Detailed understanding of statutory regulations, with a passion for providing high-quality care and continuous improvement.
- Experience in devising and undertaking quality improvement projects, with evidence-based evidence.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- High levels of integrity and boundaries, with a strong background in leadership and people management.

- Minimum 2 years' experience working at a supervisory or managerial level within a relevant clinical setting.
- Experience of managing a clinical budget.
- Strong background in leadership and people management.
- Experience of leading, implementing, and reviewing quality initiatives in a related environment.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with awareness of the impact of communication on the desired audience.
Full managerial responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of clinical services through a large team of permanent colleagues and bank workers providing clinical care and treatment 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Delegated authority for the clinical services budget and for the care, security, and maintenance of equipment and other consumables within the hospital.
Responsibility for the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of patient records, data, and information, ensuring good quality patient documentation meets regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
Safeguarding:All colleagues have a responsibility to protect and safeguard vulnerable individuals at risk, whether children or adults. Colleagues must be aware of local child and adult protection procedures and who to contact within the Local Authority Safeguarding team for further advice.
All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding awareness training and undertake additional training appropriate to their role.
