Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Halow Project. As an Independent Support Worker, you will play a vital role in nurturing independence in adults aged 16+ with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to our young adults, helping them plan their day-to-day lives and achieve their goals.
- Encourage and support individuals in setting and working towards their own goals.
- Record session data and outcomes, ensuring accurate tracking of progress.
- Flag any concerns or potential issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Work independently, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a lone-working environment.
- Some personal care and administration of medication may be required, with full training provided.
Requirements
- Aged 18 and above.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
