Care Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at the halow project. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to our service users, helping them to plan their day-to-day lives and achieve their goals.
- Encourage and support individuals with tasks such as household chores, meal planning, shopping, and cooking nutritious meals.
- Prompt the taking of medication or administer medication, including performing health checks.
- Flag any concerns or potential concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Work independently or as part of the wider Care team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- Some personal care and administration of medicine may be required, depending on the individual's needs.
- Aged 18 and above.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
- Live within 20 miles of the role.
We offer a competitive salary, starting at £24,139 per annum, with sleep-ins paid at a supplementary rate of £50 per night. You will also receive fully paid training, including the industry-recognised Care Certificate, and opportunities for further development.
